Brazilian People Dignity Dumped into Government Incompetence

Truck drivers’ general strike has reached seven days. Tomorrow is the eighth day of mess. Chaos installed in our country.
Brazilian hospitals are in need of blood of all types for transfusions, medicines to take care of in-patients, oxygen tubing, and food for meals or even snacks. Relevant surgeries have been cancelled. Precious lives are at risk.

Also, a great amount of sick people needing care and specialized treatment is stuck in their houses waiting for death unable to leave home. Ambulance cars in queues parked with emptied gas tanks.
Airports full of people  waiting. There is no fuel for the airplanes.
Schools, general courses and universities are closing their doors until this unrest fades. Teachers or students cannot get to the place they work or attend classes.
Gas stations closed and empty supermarket shelves are the symbol of our last disastrous week. On the other hand, the ones who live from farming are pouring milk to feed the ground, fruit and vegetables ended up rotting in their warehouses.  Many valuable ingredients, which could feed people from hunger,   are being wasted.
What kind of government allows this situation to be installed?  How can a whole country depend on only one category? How can a country this size not to have railroads, trains for transportation of people and goods? To whom it can concern?
In a country like Brazil a situation like this is unacceptable.  There is plenty of rain, water sprouts from the ground, and our rich soil gives all we plant. The warm sun heats crops and fruit trees. Nevertheless, all this is useless if the ones ruling the country do not take their function seriously.
The rulers are not interested in people’s welfare.  They do not care if people have the right to see a doctor or to buy some medicine.  They do not mind if people study or not.  They are able to study, attend courses, travel and go to the hospital they want. These people only care about themselves and they can do whatever they want, their money (taken from the ones who really work) is well saved   in foreigner banks overseas.

  1. Yes teacher, you are right. Our govern doesn't think they work for us, that we are your employers. Contrariwise they think the entire population work for them as slaves to ensure their extravagances.
The population is tired of paying for that. Hoping for changes...
